Normal guy Matt Saunders (Luke Wilson) meets a pretty girl, Jenny Johnson (Uma Thurman) on the subway and they start dating. What Matt doesn't know is that Jenny is actually superhero G-Girl in disguise. When Jenny becomes a little clingy, Matt decides that they should break up. G-Girl then makes his life a living hell.

The way that this film is being marketed, I was expecting a so-so comedy and some enjoyable time looking at Luke Wilson. I am happy to say I was wrong. This is an extremely funny film. The writing is great, the pacing is fantastic and the film is loaded with comedic talent. The entire sneak preview audience was laughing out loud from start to finish.

While I was a bit skeptical about the "super hero" aspect of the film, the writer and director keep it from being a complete farce with the right amount of romance and human emotion. If you take out the super-stuff, it is truly a relationship film with all of the trials that men and women go through trying to find their soul mate.

All of the actors are great - the lines are well delivered and the facial expressions and asides throughout are hilarious. Uma Thurman does a nice job as G-Girl and even at that she is the weakest comedic talent in this film. Faris, Wilson, Izzard and Sykes have you laughing at nearly every turn. Rainn Wilson who fans will know from the US version of "The Office" is one of the best comedic sidekicks in film history!

I think both Men and Women will enjoy this film. It is a quick, funny, outstandingly well directed film.
